Income works the same way as an expense, only the gesture runs in the other direction. Hold an income category and drag it onto the wallet the money arrived on.
Step by step
1. Press and hold an income category. For example “Salary” in the Income row at the top of the dashboard.
2. Drag it onto a wallet. Release it on the wallet where the money landed, say “Card”. The wallet highlights when the drop is registered.
3. Type the amount and save. The form opens with both sides already filled in. Enter the amount and press Save. The wallet balance rises immediately and the Income figure for the month updates.
If the income category does not exist
On the dashboard, in the Income row, press the “+” at the end and create one. Two categories are enough for most people: a salary and everything else. Adding more makes sense only when you actually want to see them apart in reports.
Money moved between your own wallets is not income
Withdrawing cash from a card is not a payment in, it is a transfer, and recording it as income inflates the month. Use the transfer instead, described in moving money between wallets.
